This is the basic branch of the NHS, if you choose not to take a selected career in one of the units, this is the branch you will be in, you can only reach the rank of Paramedic.

=== Specialist Response ===
The Specialist Response branch is a collection of multiple units within the NHS that specialise each in their own specialized situations.

Within specialist response there are 3 Units;

'''<u>Search & Rescue:</u>''' They specialise in the rescue on mountains, heights, rapids and cliffs. They have their own helicopter they can use after a training.

<u>'''HART:'''</u> The Hazardous Area Response Team – more commonly known as HART – is composed of specially recruited personnel who are trained and equipped to provide the ambulance response to high-risk and complex emergency situations.

'''<u>Rapid Response:</u>''' They specialise in traffic collisions and incidents where rapid response is needed. They work together with the police traffic division and the NHS units to create safety and fast medical help on the field.

=== Training and Recruitment (T&R) ===
This is the National Ambulance Training Team for Los Santos. You will be required to take a sit-down interview to show an understanding and competency of the role and what is required. Once you are in the unit you will be tasked with some of the following jobs: Application process, Interviews of new medics, Feedback on current medics and on and off site training for NHS, Police and others.

They are the advanced roleplay units within the NHS. And split into two sub-branches HCU and Critical Care.
