GTA RP Rules (English)

G1 – General Rules

G1.1 – Random Vehicle Death Match (RVDM):

Using your vehicle as a weapon (running players over, ramming, causing explosions) without a valid roleplay reason is prohibited.

G1.2 – Random Death Match (RDM):

Attacking another player without meaningful and engaging roleplay is considered RDM. “Hands up or I’ll shoot” or countdowns alone are not sufficient. Mass RDM results in a permanent ban.

G1.3 – Baiting:

Do not create scenarios purely to provoke a gunfight or police engagement (e.g. robbing a shop to start a shootout, swearing at gangs, committing crimes in front of cops).

G1.4 – Spam:

Do not spam OOC chat, /me commands, or Tweedle. Keep communications clear and meaningful.

G1.5 – Powergaming:

Forcing a scenario where others cannot fairly respond (e.g., pretending to have superpowers, faking fatal injuries to avoid RP, sealing off buildings with vehicles) is against the rules.

G1.6 – Being In Character:

Keep in-character (IC) and out-of-character (OOC) matters separate. Do not bring personal issues into RP or use RP to resolve OOC problems.

G1.7 – Community Leaders:

Business owners, org leaders, and high-ranking PD/NHS personnel are held to higher RP standards. They should consistently create quality storylines and RP for themselves and others.

G1.8 – Fail Driving:

Unrealistic driving (extreme stunts, driving off cliffs, reckless urban speeding) is not allowed unless in police chases. Accidents must be properly roleplayed for both health and vehicle condition.

G2 – Communication & RP Standards

G2.1 – Microphone:

All players must use a working microphone while on EJRP servers.

G2.2 – Language:

Players must be able to speak English and use it when communicating outside their group. RPing as a non-English speaker is allowed, but key interactions must still be understandable to others.

G2.3 – Roleplay Everything:

You must remain in character at all times unless given permission by a uniformed admin to speak OOC.

G2.4 – Value of Life:

Always value your life. If you’re clearly outnumbered or at a disadvantage, you must comply with demands.

G2.5 – (Intentionally skipped – not present in the rule list)
G2.6 – OOC Help:

Use OOC chat strictly for help. Long conversations or irrelevant chat are not permitted.

G2.7 – OOC Roleplay:

Do not use OOC to report or announce in-game events. For example, "X is robbing the bank" is not allowed in OOC chat.

G2.8 – In-game Communications:

If your phone or radio is taken in RP, do not use external communication (Discord, etc.) or your phone to contact anyone. Only in-game VOIP is permitted.

G2.9 – Transferring Items/Money:

Transferring money or items between your own characters is not allowed and is a permanent ban offense.

G2.10 – Inactivity:

If you are inactive for more than 1 month, your property ownership may be automatically revoked.

G2.11 – Non-Consensual Sexual RP:

Any form of non-consensual sexual RP is a permanent ban. Even with OOC consent, it must be pre-approved via a ticket in EJRP Discord.

G2.12 – Poor Quality Roleplay:

You must provide meaningful, engaging RP. Lazy phrases like “hands up or die” or refusing medical RP are not acceptable. Always consider the experience of all players involved.

G3 – OOC Info & Metagaming Rules

G3.1 – OOC Information (Metagaming):

Using out-of-character (OOC) information to influence your in-character (IC) decisions is strictly prohibited and will result in a permanent ban (minimum 1-month cooldown). This includes Twitch streams, forum posts, and private messages.

G3.2 – Session IDs / Collar Numbers:

You may not identify players solely by their session ID. Police and NHS personnel can be identified by rank/collar number when in uniform.

G3.3 – Hot Mic:

If you use external communications (e.g., Discord or phone), you must hot-mic any relevant conversations when others are nearby and able to hear. This allows rival players to hear important RP.

G3.4 – OOC Tweedles:

The Tweedle app is in-character. Do not post OOC info or violate NLR by tweeting content your character shouldn’t know.

G3.5 – Character Separation:

You must keep your characters completely separate. Information, relationships, or assets from one character cannot influence another. No cross-character sharing or coordination.

G4 – New Life Rule & Injury Mechanics

G4.1 – New Life Begins:

A new life starts when you respawn after any RP situation, except where G4.2 applies.

G4.2 – New Life Exception:

If you are told by a staff member that your death was due to RVDM or RDM, new life does not apply.

G4.3 – NLR on Respawn:

After respawning, you forget the events that led to your death. You cannot return to the location of your death for 15 minutes and must avoid rejoining the situation.

G4.4 – Downed State:

When downed (not yet respawned), you must roleplay your injuries realistically. Do not reference the in-game respawn timer or act as if you are dead.

G4.5 – Revived State:

If revived, you must continue roleplaying your injuries. Do not instantly run away or re-engage in combat. You may retain knowledge from before being downed but cannot return to combat for at least 15 minutes unless forced to.

G5 – Character Rules

G5.1 – Character Names:

You must use a realistic first and last name. Do not use names of celebrities, fictional characters, political figures, criminals, or terrorists.

G5.2 – Believable Character Roles:

Your character's behavior should match their backstory. For example, a lawyer shouldn't commit murder over a scratched car or repair vehicles in the street. Stay consistent with your chosen role.

G5.3 – Character Death (Perma-Death):

Your character can be permanently killed (deleted) through RP, but this must be agreed upon by all involved and approved by staff.

G5.4 – Mass Murder:

Characters that go on killing sprees

G6 – Emergency Buildings

G6 – No Loitering:

Do not loiter around emergency service buildings (e.g., Police Stations, Fire Stations, Hospitals) without a valid and ongoing roleplay reason.

G7 – Hostage & Police Interaction Rules

G7.1 – Hostages:

Taking hostages must be roleplayed with a high standard of quality and creativity. The scenario should be engaging for everyone involved.

G7.2 – Fake Hostages:

You may not use willing participants such as friends or gang members as fake hostages to manipulate police or other players.

G7.3 – Executions:

You must have a valid, realistic method for any execution (e.g., to cut a throat you must have a bladed weapon) and it must be roleplayed with strong detail.

G7.4 – Phone Warnings:

You cannot use the in-game phone to issue blanket threats like "Cops seen within 1km will be shot."

G7.5 – Sirens Are Not Initiation:

If police use lights/sirens to stop you, that is not considered roleplay initiation. Shooting at them without further interaction is RDM.

G7.6 – Spike Strips:

The use of spike strips does not count as initiating roleplay. You must still engage in proper roleplay if using them.

G7.7 – Conflicting Characters:

You may only have one character in a gang or legal job (e.g., police, NHS) at a time. You cannot play both sides of the law or storylines involving opposing factions.

G8 – Police Rules

G8.1 – [Removed]
G8.2 – Police Equipment:

Police officers are not allowed to sell or give away police equipment. However, roleplay-driven exchanges may be allowed with strong justification.

G8.3 – Police Position Abuse:

You must not use your role as a police officer to assist friends (e.g., clearing their charges without proper RP). All actions must be justified and realistic.

G8.4 – [Removed]
G8.5 – [Removed]
G8.6 – Police Station NLR Exception:

If a police station is attacked, the 15-minute New Life Rule (NLR) does not apply to police. Officers may return immediately, as stations are considered continuously staffed and monitored.

G8.7 – Police Corruption (Non-Reportable):

Police corruption roleplay is not permitted. This rule cannot be used to report players, and is handled privately by the Staff, Dev Leads, and Management team.

G9 – Medics & Firefighters Rules

G9.1 – [Removed]
G9.2 – Equipment Use:

Medics and firefighters may not sell or willingly give away their equipment.

G9.3 – Patrol Behavior:

Emergency personnel must not follow gangs, police, or criminal groups. Instead, they should patrol their assigned hospital areas or serve the entire county appropriately.

G9.4 – Hostage Policy:

Medics and firefighters cannot be taken hostage. However, they may be killed with strong roleplay justification (e.g., refusal to comply when threatened).

G9.5 – Role Abuse:

Do not use your role as a medic or firefighter to assist friends unfairly or provide insider advantages.

G9.6 – [Removed]
G9.7 – Combat Reviving:

Medics may not revive players during active combat. If an area is not safe, reviving is not allowed.

G9.8 – Emergency Vehicles:

Taking NHS or Fire Department vehicles without explicit consent is forbidden.

G10 – Lost MC Rules

G10.1 – [Removed]
G10.2 – Alliances:

The Lost MC may only form temporary alliances with other gangs or individuals. Non-aggression pacts are allowed but must not be permanent.

G10.3 – [Removed]
G10.4 – [Removed]
G10.5 – [Removed]
G10.6 – Clubhouse NLR Exception:

If the Lost MC clubhouse is attacked, the 15-minute NLR does not apply. Lost MC members may return to the situation immediately.

G10.7 – Character Conflict:

You cannot have characters in both The Lost MC and “The Firm.” Players must choose only one.

G11 – Group & Organization Rules

G11.1 – Group Death:

If your character is killed as part of being removed from a group, that character may never rejoin the group.

G11.2 – Zerging:

Coordinating or forming alliances between groups during attacks (e.g., sharing info, combat assistance, body pickup) is prohibited.

G11.2.1 – Temporary Groups:

Temporary alliances (up to 6 characters) may be formed between different groups for specific roleplay reasons, but must follow the same anti-zerg rules.

G11.3 – War Timer:

During prolonged hostile RP, a 2-week timer is applied. If not resolved, staff will mediate. After the war, a 2-week cooldown prevents renewed conflict between the same groups.

G11.3.1 – War Recruitment:

Groups in an active war may not recruit new F6 members during the conflict.

G11.4 – Recruitment Cooldown:

If a player leaves a whitelisted gang or group, they must wait 1 month before joining another whitelisted group.

G11.5 – Joining During Hostile Situations:

Upon logging in, you may not engage in any ongoing hostile scenario involving your group for 15 minutes. Exceptions (e.g., timeout or relog) must be handled properly and with staff awareness.

G11.6 – One Character per Whitelisted Group:

You may only have one character in any whitelisted gang or group at a time. Whitelisted groups include (subject to change): Apostles, Aztecas, Ballas, Callaghans, Coalition, Cutlass, Cypress, Fallen Angels MC, Grove, Hustlers, Marabunta, Padrinos, Nobles, Triads, Vagos.
