GTA RP Rules
G1 – General Rules
- G1.1: Random Vehicle Death Match (RVDM) – Using your vehicle as a weapon (running players over, causing explosions, ramming vehicles) without a valid RP reason is strictly prohibited.
- G1.2: Random Death Match (RDM) – Attacking players without engaging in high-quality roleplay is not allowed. A simple threat or countdown is not sufficient roleplay. Mass RDM results in a permanent ban.
- G1.3: Baiting – Creating scenarios just to trigger combat or police responses (e.g., robbing a store for a gunfight) is not allowed.
- G1.4: Spam – Spamming OOC chat, /me commands, or Tweedle messages is forbidden.
- G1.5: Powergaming – Forcing unrealistic outcomes or actions where others have no chance to react (e.g., superpowers, fake fatal injuries, blocking buildings with vehicles) is against the rules.
- G1.6: Being In Character – Keep in-game issues in-game. Don’t bring real-life issues into RP, and vice versa. Your character is fictional, and so are others.
- G1.7: Community Leaders – Leaders (business owners, org heads, high-rank PD/NHS) must provide top-tier roleplay. They are held to higher standards and expected to create meaningful scenarios.
- G1.8: Fail Driving – Unrealistic driving (extreme stunt jumps, cliff falls without consequence, reckless urban speeding) is not allowed. Accidents must be roleplayed properly including injuries and damage.

G2 – Communication & RP Standards
- G2.1: Microphones are mandatory for all players on RPUK servers.
- G2.2: All players must be able to speak English and use it when communicating outside of their group. You may roleplay as a non-English speaker but ensure other players understand key interactions.
- G2.3: You must remain in character at all times unless explicitly allowed to speak OOC by an Admin.
- G2.4: Value your life at all times. If you’re outnumbered or disadvantaged, you must comply with threats or commands.
- G2.5: [Not present – intentionally skipped to match the numbering in your provided rules.]
- G2.6: OOC chat is for help only. Long conversations or general chat are not allowed in OOC.
- G2.7: Do not use OOC to broadcast in-game events or plans you observe (e.g., warning others about a robbery).
- G2.8: If your phone or radio is taken in RP, you may not use any external communication to talk to others. Only in-game VOIP is allowed.
- G2.9: Transferring items or money between your own characters is a permanent ban offense.
- G2.10: If you're inactive for over a month, you may lose ownership of your properties.
- G2.11: Non-consensual sexual RP is strictly banned and will result in a permanent ban. Even with consent, it must be pre-approved through a Discord ticket.
- G2.12: Poor quality roleplay is not acceptable. Be creative and detailed. “Hands up or die” and similar phrases are low quality. Always roleplay injuries and aftermaths realistically. Avoid lazy or minimal effort RP.

G3 – OOC Info & Metagaming Rules
- G3.1: Using out-of-character (OOC) information to influence in-character (IC) decisions is considered metagaming and will result in a permanent ban with a minimum 1-month cooldown. This includes using Twitch streams, forums, or private messages.
- G3.2: You may not identify players solely by their session ID. Police/NHS collar numbers are allowed if they are in uniform or visibly displaying rank.
- G3.3: If you're using external communication (like Discord), you must "hot mic" relevant conversations when within earshot of other players. Rivals should be able to hear your plans if they're close.
- G3.4: Tweets made via the Tweedle app are considered in-character. Do not share OOC or NLR-breaking info there.
- G3.5: You must maintain character separation. Knowledge, items, and information from one character cannot be shared with or used by another. Characters must not share assets or meta knowledge.

G4 – New Life Rule & Injury Mechanics
- G4.1: A new life starts after you respawn following any RP situation, except where G4.2 applies.
- G4.2: A new life does not begin if staff inform you via in-game, forums, Teamspeak, or Discord that your death was due to clear-cut RDM or RVDM.
- G4.3: Upon respawn when NLR applies: You forget the events that led to your death, and feuds are ended. Do not return to the location of death for 15 minutes or rejoin the situation.
- G4.4: When you are downed (not yet respawned): You must roleplay being seriously injured. Do not reference the in-game timer or treat yourself as “dead.”
- G4.5: When revived: You must continue to roleplay your injuries. You cannot instantly run off or re-engage in combat. You retain knowledge from before being downed but cannot rejoin the same combat for 15 minutes unless forced into it.

G5 – Character Rules
- G5.1: Character names must be realistic. Do not use names of famous people, fictional characters, or controversial figures.
- G5.2: Your character’s actions must suit their role. For example, a lawyer shouldn’t be fixing cars roadside or committing murders over minor disputes. Stick to your character’s background.
- G5.3: Characters can be permanently killed (perma-deleted) through RP, but only with agreement from all involved and approval by staff.
- G5.4: Characters who go on mass killing sprees (mass murderers) will face the most severe punishment, including perma-death. Creating multiple characters like this may result in a ban.
- G5.5: Group/gang/business names must be realistic. Unprofessional or copyrighted names (e.g., “Gucci Gang”) will be removed without notice.
- G5.6: Committing many crimes will attract more police attention and higher penalties. Police may permanently jail criminal characters, especially for griefing low-level/new players.
- G5.7: Characters should have long-term growth. You cannot start off rich or powerful. Build your character’s skills, knowledge, and reputation over time.

G7 – Hostage & Police Interaction Rules
- G7.1: Taking hostages must be done with high-quality roleplay that makes the scenario enjoyable for everyone.
- G7.2: Fake hostages (e.g., gang or group members pretending) are not allowed.
- G7.3: Executions must be realistic and well roleplayed. For example, slitting someone’s throat requires a bladed weapon.
- G7.4: You cannot use the in-game phone to issue threats like “Cops within 1km will be shot.”
- G7.5: Police sirens/lights do not count as RP initiation. If you shoot at cops solely for pulling up with lights, it's RDM.
- G7.6: Spike strips are not roleplay by themselves. Using them without proper RP is considered RDM.
- G7.7: You may only have one character involved in a gang or legal faction at any time. You cannot play both sides of a conflict.

- G8.4: [Removed]

- G9.5: Do not abuse your medic or firefighter role to benefit friends in any way.
- G9.6: [Removed]

G11 – Group & Organization Rules
- G11.1: If your character is killed due to being removed from a group, they may never rejoin that group.
- G11.2: Zerging (coordinating between multiple groups during attacks) is strictly prohibited. This includes relaying info, body pickup, combat assistance, etc.

- G11.4: If a player leaves a whitelisted group, there is a mandatory 1-month cooldown before they may join another.

Whitelisted groups include (but are not limited to): Apostles, Aztecas, Ballas, Callaghans, Coalition, Cutlass, Cypress, Fallen Angels MC, Grove, Hustlers, Marabunta, Padrinos, Nobles, Triads, Vagos.
